Rossiter has helped me SO much! I highly recommend it if you have chronic pain, tightness, or if you just want to feel better and take care of your body. Ellen is amazing and I always leave my sessions feeling better in every way.

This place provides incredible service! I worked with Kylie whose deep knowledge of anatomy and ability to see the body is evident. My movement was more fluid after the Rossiter and I felt lighter. Can't wait to be back and continue to refer others her way!

I've been to Treasure Valley Rossiter 4 times and the work I have received has always been stellar. It's AMAZING how quickly the therapy works to alleviate pain. After my first session I was able to walk, stand, and sleep with zero back pain. Then I went back for sciatica, and they got that issue resolved quickly. Then they focused on loosening the tightness in my legs (which also helps my back). And all told - I'm very impressed with the work. Much quicker results than I've received through massage, and the changes last a nice long time.

I HIGHLY recommend Treasure Valley Rossiter to anyone who has any need for pain relief, stretching, increased mobility, etc. I went in highly skeptical. I have chronic back pain and have for the better part of two decades. I sleep on a heating pad nightly just for some relief. I've done it all - doctors, different massage therapists and massage types {helps right then, but I'm back on my heating pad that night!}, chiropractors {sorry, never made a difference for me}, etc. The first time I went to Treasure Valley Rossiter, it felt good, but didn't cure me. I remained slightly skeptical. The second time I went and saw Ellen and it hurt so good! I felt immediate relief in my upper back, more than I'd ever felt from anything else. And it stuck! For once I wasn't constantly thinking about the pain and the "zinging" in my back. I could turn my head while driving without it hurting. I just left my third appointment, and I am a believer! I will tell anyone who will listen that they MUST go have a Rossiter session. Ellen's knowledge of what to do to help certain afflictions is impeccable. She is amazing. Rossiter is amazing. If you haven't tried it (or if you have elsewhere) do yourself a favor and GO!

Ellen is the best. She unlocked my body! I felt like I got realigned, and had more space in my joints to move around. Rossiter is like nothing I have experienced before, and I have had tons of body work done as well as practiced sports massage myself for 25+ years. You owe it to yourself to try Rossiter therapy!

Rossiter has helped me so much to go from living with chronic back pain to a pain free life! It has been so much more effective for me than physical therapy, therapeutic massage or acupuncture. The sessions are short and so effective, I feel like I walk out with a different body than I walk in with, it's that transformative because I can move much more easily and freely afterwards.

Thousands of sessions. Two Treasure Valley locations.#1 Boise's Best Pain Clinic — 3 years running.

Does this sound familiar?

You're not injured. You're not fragile. You're just… working around something.

You stretch it. You rest it. You warm up longer than you used to.

You've started choosing the shorter hike. Skipping the second round. Getting up off the floor a little more carefully.

And the frustrating part isn't the sensation itself — it's how much of your calendar quietly starts organizing itself around it.

A year from now, you'll either still be working around it, or you'll have spent 25 minutes finding out whether there's a better place to start.

The TVR 4-step movement framework

Most sessions start where it hurts. Ours starts with how you move.

01

Goal

What do you want to do more comfortably? Not just where you're feeling something — what is it getting in the way of?

02

Observe

You'll move. We watch your body move and find where movement has gone missing.

03

Release

Focused Rossiter work chosen from what we saw and what you felt. No generic routine.

04

Re-check

You move again. Walk. Reach. Rotate. Squat. Bend. Then our favorite question: "What changed?"

We follow the framework. Your body does the rest.

1 session25 minutes1 clear goalFully clothedNo treatment plan required

Your body shouldn't be the reason you stop doing what you love.

This isn't really about being able to touch your toes. It's about continuing to say yes to your life.

  • Walking around Costco without thinking about every step
  • Playing on the floor with the kids or grandkids
  • Getting back on the trail
  • Working in the garden
  • Playing 18 holes
  • Traveling
  • Sleeping comfortably
  • Moving your body in the sunshine

That's what we're after.

An active adult hiking a sunny trail in the Idaho foothills

Most people don't come to us first.

And that's okay.

They've often already tried things like:

MassageStretchingRestExercisesMobility workGiving it time

And sometimes those things help. But when the same limitation keeps showing up, it may be worth looking at the body a little differently.

THE PLACE YOU FEEL IT  ISN'T ALWAYS THE BEST PLACE TO START.

The body doesn't move as a collection of separate parts. It moves as a connected system.

So instead of automatically spending the entire session focused on the area asking for the most attention, we look at the movement pattern around it. Where has movement become limited? What's compensating? What changes when we create movement somewhere else?

The Rossiter framework helps your Coach narrow in on the restrictions that appear to be having the greatest impact on the way your body moves.

Change the right thing… and everything connected to it may begin moving differently too. That's why Rossiter can be so focused.

25 minutes. One clear goal. One body that moves together.

Why only 25 minutes?

Not because it's convenient. Because of how the body actually responds to this kind of work.

Think of it like leaving breadcrumbs. Place a few in a deliberate pattern and the body knows exactly where to follow. Scatter breadcrumbs across the whole forest and it has no idea where to start — so it doesn't.

There's also a real limit to how much tissue can change in one session. Do too much and you don't get more benefit — you get less, because the response fatigues and the body stops releasing the way it did at the start.

And a lot of the change doesn't happen on the floor. It happens in the 24 hours after, while you're walking, working, and moving normally. We'd rather leave you with energy for that window than spend it all in the room.

Fewer breadcrumbs. Better pattern. More left for your body to use.

Who you'll be working with.

Ellen Argo — owner, Treasure Valley Rossiter. Master Rossiter Instructor.

Ellen has more than a decade of experience helping people move and feel better. She's passionate about understanding the body as a whole — looking beyond where discomfort shows up to find the movement patterns and restrictions influencing it.

Her approach is simple: create the right change, give the body space to respond, and trust its incredible ability to do the rest.

Trained in house

We train the best of the best.

  • In-house training every week — we work on each other, not just on clients
  • Coaches trained and mentored directly by a Master Rossiter Instructor
  • Ongoing craft development, so your session reflects current best practice

Is this a good fit for you?

We'd rather you know before you book than after.

Rossiter is likely a great fit if

  • You're generally active and want to keep it that way
  • You're comfortable getting down to and back up from the floor
  • You want to participate, not lie there passively
  • You'd rather test one session than commit to a plan

It's probably not the right call if

  • You're looking for a relaxing spa-style massage
  • You want a passive treatment where nothing is asked of you
  • You're seeking a diagnosis — that's a job for your medical provider
  • You've had recent surgery or have a condition needing clearance, before talking with us first

Not sure which side you're on? Call or text us at (208) 949-3868 and we'll tell you straight.

Try something different without a big commitment.

You don't need to sign up for months of appointments just to discover whether Rossiter feels right for your body.

Start with one 25-minute session. Experience it. Move afterward. See what you notice. Then decide what makes sense from there.

Frequently asked questions

Rossiter is an active, two-person system of guided movement. Your Coach provides direction while you actively move and give feedback throughout the process. Rather than following the same routine with everyone, your Coach uses your movement and feedback to guide the session. You're an active participant the entire time.

Rossiter can feel intense, but you are always in control. Your Coach works with your feedback throughout the session, and more intensity isn't automatically better. We want enough input to create a useful experience while still allowing you to breathe, relax, and move deliberately. You can always ask for less.

No. Rossiter is active and participatory rather than a traditional massage session. You'll be moving and communicating with your Coach throughout the session.

Yes. Rossiter is performed fully clothed. Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is best.

Most Rossiter work is performed on a padded floor surface, so you'll need to be comfortable getting down to and back up from the floor.

25 minutes. That's intentional, not a shortened version of a longer appointment. The body only has so much capacity for change in a day, and much of what happens after a session happens while you move over the next 24 hours — so we'd rather leave you with capacity for that than use it all up in the room.

There isn't one answer for every body. Some people notice meaningful changes quickly, while others benefit from additional sessions over time. Your Coach will pay attention to how your body responds and recommend what makes sense for you. You aren't required to commit to a long treatment plan before experiencing Rossiter for yourself.

Comfortable, flexible clothing. Athletic pants, leggings, joggers, or similar clothing work beautifully.

Let your Coach know before your session. Rossiter has specific cautions and contraindications, and your Coach can determine whether Rossiter is appropriate or whether medical clearance is needed. Rossiter is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

We don't bill insurance directly. Payment is made at the time of your visit. If needed, we're happy to provide a receipt for your records.

That's exactly why we created our First Visit Promise. If you don't feel your first visit was worthwhile, we'll make it right.

You don't have to decide whether Rossiter is your answer.

You only have to decide whether it's worth 25 minutes to find out.

Come in. Tell us what you'd love to be doing more comfortably.

Let us watch your body move. Experience Rossiter. Then move again. Let's see what your body tells us.

25 minutes. That's it.

Most first sessions are available this week.
